Dr. Jacob Weissich was born and raised in San Francisco, California, but has lived in many other places including New York City, Jerusalem, and now Fresno. Before dentistry he pursued a career in music and still writes music for fun.
Upon obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, Dr. Weissich completed a post-doctoral residency at Community Regional Medical Center and Veterans Affairs Hospital in Fresno. There he provided comprehensive dental treatment for children and adults in the clinic, operating room, and the emergency department. Currently Dr. Weissich has operating room privileges at Valley Children’s Hospital and Kaiser.
Dr. Weissich is an active member of:
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- California Dental Association (CDA)
- Fresno-Madera Dental Society (FMDS)
He is passionate about helping those in need and regularly volunteers at community outreach events, such as CDA Cares, Save Our Smiles, and Veteran’s Dentistry Day to provide free dentistry to those without regular access to dental care.
Dr. Weissich is married to his high school sweetheart and together they have two beautiful daughters. In addition to songwriting, he enjoys running, cycling, hiking, traveling, attending live music performances, and is a life long San Francisco Giants fan. Dr. Weissich has established himself as a trusted member of the Central Valley dental community!
